On Thursday I updated the priority requests now use a single SSE stream instead of repeated polling and table-draw refetches, updated the backend added buildpriorityrequestslist() so list logic is shared, added the rtcpriorityrequests() using streamedresponse (same pattern as rtcapplicants): sends an initial snapshot on connect pushes updates only when priority-related applicants change (updated at within 5s) polls every 5s on the server side (one long-lived connection, updated the not repeated client ajax) new route: GET rtc clinic portal priority-requests frontend (priority-script.blade.php + clinic portal index.blade.php) removed: 15s setinterval polling otable.on('draw') refetch (was firing on every datatable redraw) added: eventsource → connectprioritystream() applypriorityrequests() to handle streamed payloads reconnect on stream error, and updated the reconnect with new term id when the term filter changes confirm action updates counts from the DOM (no extra fetch) for the fix aggreagation in admission applicant fetch, updated the class context bar gold left accent and soft emerald gold gradient background book icon tile (same style as class cards) “selected class” eyebrow above the subject title meta shown as chips (level, updated the section, updated the term, updated the semester) with icons — not a single dotted line category badge on the right when available grades attendance tabs pill tabs with icon tile, updated the label, updated the and hint (“class record & periods” “monthly roster”) active tab: emerald border, updated the gold underline, and updated the light gold tint hover states on inactive tabs for the eclassrecord version 2, updated the grouped prefix — add or change routes in one place named routes — use route('school attendance.calendar') instead of hardcoded urls cleaner urls — rest-style paths without get post prefixes explicit auth middleware on the group (controller still has it too) inline docs — comment block lists available route names added hover and click day details on the summary yearly calendar grid, updated the behavior hover a colored day (school day, updated the holiday, updated the or event) → detail popover appears above the cell click a day → pins the popover open (useful on touch devices) click outside → closes pinned popover popover flips below the cell when there isn’t enough space above detail shown date (e.g, updated the thu, updated the may 15, updated the 2026) type badge: school day holiday event holiday name (if applicable) event name (if applicable) classifications with section counts and “present” status respects the classification filter when one is active other updates legend hint: “hover or click a day for details” month cards allow popovers to display outside the grid without being clipped only days with scheduled attendance show the interactive popover, and updated the plain weekend empty days stay as numbers only for the school attendance configuration, and updated index.blade.php.
